For a few weeks in spring 2016, Shibuya Parco turned part of its restaurant floor into a Miffy shrine. THE GUEST cafe & diner on Part 1’s seventh floor hosted Miffy Cafe — billed as the character’s first full-scale collaboration cafe in Japan. The pitch was not subtle: Miffy-shaped plates, Miffy peeking from sandwiches, and sweets that looked too polished to eat. Coverage admitted the dilemma openly — almost too cute to destroy with a fork.

Beyond the table, the cafe set up a photo spot where guests could pose with Miffy for commemorative shots — the kind of corner that turns a meal into social content before Instagram made that routine.
An adjacent shop sold official Miffy goods plus cafe-only items produced in limited quantities. Coverage urged visitors to come early; exclusives were explicitly capped.
