Starting 25 February 2015, the Chara Cre! stand inside Harajuku’s MOSHI MOSHI BOX tourist information hub began selling Haikyu!! collaboration crepes. The shop — “Chara Cre! produced by MARION CREPES” — already specialized in character-branded sweets. This run, titled Chara Cre! meets Haikyu!!, translated manga appetites into foldable dessert form.
The collaboration is historical. Menus, prices, and tie-in stores described here reflect 2015 only.
What “character crepe” meant here
Marion Crepes’ Harajuku lineage is long; Chara Cre! narrowed the idea to fandom. Each release pairs a character with flavors referencing their canon food preferences, wraps the crepe in collab artwork, and sells the result as both snack and souvenir photo prop.
Wave one focused on three Karasuno favorites:
Hinata Shoyo — “Tamago Kake Gohan Style”
Ingredients listed in the source: whipped cream, mandarin orange, marshmallow, chocolate sauce, cookie, apple. The name nods to Hinata’s egg-over-rice habit translated into sweet crepe logic — not a literal savory bowl, but a dessert read of the character trait.
Kageyama Tobio — “Pork Curry with Warm Egg”
Fillings: curry, egg, lettuce, senbei (rice cracker). Savory-leaning compared with Hinata’s plate, matching Kageyama’s curry attachment from the series.
Tsukishima Kei — “Shortcake”
Fillings: whipped cream, shortcake, strawberry. Straight dessert alignment with Tsukishima’s sweet tooth.

Wrapper art and the parallel pop-up
The report highlights the crepe paper as much as the fillings. Chara Cre! coordinated wrap design with the limited HAIKYU!! STORE also open in Harajuku during the period — a second place to spend on merch, but the edible tie-in lived inside MOSHI MOSHI BOX.
Release schedule (2015)
The first Haikyu!! wave ran 25 February through 8 March 2015 (Sunday). The source outlines a rolling plan beyond that window:
- Wave 2: from 9 March 2015 (Monday) — characters to be announced later on the official site
- Wave 3: from 21 March 2015 (Saturday, public holiday)
- Encore: from 2 April 2015 (Thursday), the top three best-selling character crepes would return for a limited re-release
For character names in later waves, check chara-cre.com rather than expecting them listed upfront.

Why Harajuku fits the story
Takeshita-adjacent tourist hubs in 2015 were already accustomed to queue culture for limited sweets and anime goods. MOSHI MOSHI BOX functioned as both information desk and retail incubator — a sensible place to park a photo-friendly crepe collab while a separate Haikyu!! store handled wider merch.
Harajuku and Shibuya share foot traffic even when the vibe differs. If you are orienting from live views of the scramble on the Shibuya Crossing live camera, this pop-up sits a short train or walk north in Jingumae — same ward, different costume.
For a present-day budget frame around the same ward’s casual meals, see our guide to cheap eats in Tokyo.
Confirm whether Chara Cre!, MOSHI MOSHI BOX, or Marion’s current Harajuku counters still run anime collaborations before visiting. This archive entry preserves the 2015 Haikyu!! menu as Shibuya Channel reported it.
